AstroAgency's client, Responsive Access, is a startup looking to simplify access to space by providing a one stop shop for smallsat companies and organisations, to take care of all their launch needs for friction free access to space. As Responsive Access are focused on their technical development, they required assistance in increasing their brand awareness, to help them build credibility and a pipeline of partners and customers, tasks that AstroAgency was delighted to deliver!
AstroAgency’s initial campaign has focused on supporting Responsive Access' efforts around sourcing funding and applying for ESA BIC support, which they have successfully received, developing an events strategy that includes speaking slot opportunities, and amplifying their announcements in various industry specific publications through AstroAgency’s extensive space media contacts, as well as crafting press releases, all helping to amplify their messaging and build brand identity and awareness.

From securing offices at the ESA BIC at the Royal Edinburgh Observatory, winning awards and getting valuable press coverage early, here are a small number of the great successes AstroAgency has been able to support Responsive Access in achieving:
Responsive Access successfully won a place on the coveted European Space Agency (ESA) Business Incubation programme, a venture funded by ESA and the Science and Technology Facilities Council in the UK, resulting in Responsive Access setting up offices in the ESA Business Incubation Centre in the Higgs Centre for Innovation at the Royal Edinburgh Observatory site – a key space hub in the City of Edinburgh, ensuring Responsive Access is situated at the centre of Scottish Space Activities, able to take advantage of the great business benefits that opportunity brings in terms of close contact with other space ventures at the thriving space community at the Business Incubation Centre, the ready access to the University of Edinburgh and the City, as well as being able to take advantage of the great support for space that has been nurtured in Scotland as a whole.
As part of the ‘Exporting is GREAT’ campaign, AstroAgency helped Responsive Access secure funding from Heathrow Airport and the Department for International Trade. This grant was critical in enabling Responsive Access to attend a conference which was key for building their brand and expanding their business opportunities, the SmallSat Symposium in California, USA, in the search for new partnerships and customers. The funding ensured Responsive Access was able to connect directly with the largest market for smallsats, helping drive return on investment through business growth from securing new clients.
The success in attending these events and building rapid brand awareness together with the great support from ESA with the Business Incubation Centre, Heathrow Airport and the Department of International Trade, has enabled Responsive Access to sign a Smallsat Mission Agreement with Glasgow based space organisation, GUOrbit, to support their Cubesat, Astraeus-01.
